When my husband and I decided to get married in MI, the first thing we did was hire Mandi and it was the best decision we made. We live on the East Coast and have no friends or family close to the wedding venue, so we knew we needed an extra hand. The first time we talked with her via phone, she had us at “spreadsheets” as she described her organization system to us. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mandi and she made us feel as if we were the only couple she was working with. Throughout our planning process, she would send us “this made me think of you” emails with ideas for our wedding that she came across. She totally nailed our vision and personalities even though we didn’t meet in person until the day before our wedding. She was always readily available whenever we had questions and she checked in often to see what we needed help with. When we needed last minute help with programs and table numbers, Mandi designed them for us and we’re still hearing compliments from our guests! Our wedding day was amazing. We, as well as our parents, had an amazing time because we were able to relax and enjoy the day. Mandi took care of every little detail and we didn’t worry about a thing. She is amazing and worth every penny! We had a fantastic time at our wedding and are so thankful to you and all of your help. My mom won’t stop talking about the wedding and how much fun she had. I think it’s possible that she heart’s you as much as I do. :) Everything was perfect and beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

We hired Mandi as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding, per the recommendation of the owners of our wedding venue, the Blue Dress Barn. We were extremely overwhelmed by the wedding planning process, and didn’t know at all whether we should really spend the money on someone just to coordinate vendors on the day of the wedding. But we went with our gut feeling and decided to hire Mandi, and we couldn’t be more happy that we did. She did so much more than just coordinate vendors. She was helpful and friendly from our first phone call, and made it clear that she was there for us along the way whenever we needed anything. I emailed her all the time, just to bounce ideas off of –whether they were big things like choosing a caterer or little things like choosing table number holders– and she quickly responded to each and every email. It was very comforting to know I always had Mandi to turn to for help with the multitude of questions that came up throughout the wedding planning process. She also offered help seeking out vintage decor elements and offering to re-paint them to match our wedding colors, even though this was outside the bounds of what we hired her for. By doing all of that organizing work with Mandi ahead of time, I was not worried about a thing on the actual wedding day. I knew Mandi had it all under control, and she did! Because of Mandi, we had a wonderful wedding day, and my husband and I were able to just focus on why we were there and enjoy the time with our closest friends and family. Her assistance was an invaluable resource to have on our wedding day, and I am so glad we hired her.

Having Mandi Buckland as my wedding planner was the best decision I could have made since deciding to marry my fiancé. My family and all of my friends agree. No one in my family was able to put time into planning a wedding and with 5 months to do it and all my bridesmaids living out of town, I was looking for someone who would really just take charge and help me figure out what to do and how to do it. Mandi was always available to talk if I needed to figure something out and she was constantly on the look out for cool things to use at my wedding. She would call from antique markets, home improvement stores, and cute shops that she had happened upon and even her back yard where she was always coming up with amazing and beautiful ideas that completely fit my personality and the setting of our wedding. Even knowing that she was planning other weddings over the summer, I always felt that mine was the only one on her mind. Mandi’s calm demeanor, excitement in the planning process, creativity, and personal interest in our wedding day show that she is a pro at what she does. If I had to do it all over again, Mandi would be the first person I’d call – Our wedding was awesome!

The style and look of my wedding truly evolved from the design of my invitations created by Mandi Buckland. She put together a one-of-a-kind invitation, reply card & a CD case cover for us. Each one was a little bit different but they worked together as a set. The design was outstanding and suited our style perfectly. She customized them using unusual sized paper, rich colors, and a combination of interesting fonts. I was thrilled at the number of guests who mentioned how much they liked our invitations and that they hated to throw them away. If you want something completely unique, I would highly recommend using Mandi to design your wedding invitations! She is gifted creatively and has a vision of how to extend her designs far beyond the paper into the overall ambiance of your event.
